In September 2008 we introduced the world’s first application for visual search on the iPhone. Today, we released version 2.0 of ‘kooaba search‘ as a free download on the Apple App Store.
What’s new?
In addition to movie posters, kooaba will now recognize hundreds of thousands of DVDs and give you information about the movie, such as the trailer, reviews or shopping links. Additional new features include:
- Significantly improved user interface
- Search results are shown in integrated browser
- Pictures can be taken from almost any point in the app
- Integration of geographic location for optimized search results

- Increased stability
