We have successfully ported the image recognition code to the Symbian Mobile Platform (Nokia 6630). Technically spoken, this means that visual feature extraction can now be implemented and run on mobile phones. Communication with the server happens via MMS.
For customers this leaves the choice of having either a server-side or client-side system.
